What is German Lotto?

German Lotto (or Lotto 6 aus 49) is Germany's biggest national game. 6 Main Numbers are drawn from a field of 1 to 49 and 1 "Super Number" is drawn from a field of 0 to 9. Match just two Main Numbers and the "Super Number" and you start winning! German Lotto features one of richest weekly total prize pools out there; on average €17 million. Draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday, giving you two chances at the jackpot every week. Now that's wunderbar!

What is the "Super Number" for?

German Lotto draws another ball ­- the "Super Number" ­ in addition to the 6 Main Numbers. The "Super Number" adds to the fun of winning in 5 of the 9 prize levels up for grabs!

What if I want to play other games too?

With ELG, you can select any game you want, as long as you are not a resident of that country. (In other words, a resident of Germany cannot play the German Lotto through ELG.) You can choose the games that suit your fancy and play as many as you wish!

How do I play with a group?

In addition to individual plays, ELG also offers syndicate play. This allows you to increase your chances of winning, or to play for longer, while reducing your costs. How do I get advance notice on Superdraws, rollovers or special events?

How do I know if I've won?

There's nothing better than knowing you've won! If you've won €1000 or more in any draw, we'll telephone you as soon as possible to share the happy news! At the end of your play period, we always send you a Final Statement showing your total prize money won. You also receive a complete list of winning numbers so you can see the draw results for yourself.

How do I get my winnings?

Winnings are included with your Final Statement (sent automatically to you when your current play period ends) in the form of a cheque, bank draft, money order or applicable financial instrument for your country. (Total wins of less than £10 for British Lotto, or €10 for all other games, will be deposited directly to your ELG account and are available upon request at any time.) Of course, we are always happy to make any special arrangements you may require for receiving your prize money. For your convenience, we can also convert winnings to most major national currencies at the prevailing exchange rate. Don't forget, with ELG you are guaranteed to receive the full value of all the prizes you win, with no taxes deducted and no additional fees of any kind.
