The lucky couple who won Britain's biggest-ever lottery prize - an incredible €64.8 Million - were revealed to the world’s media on Monday afternoon.

Nigel Page and Justine Laycock, who live near Cirencester, spoke at a packed press conference in Bath, Somerset. They expressed their delight at becoming the latest lotto multi-millionaires although admitted they were still shocked by the scale of their huge EuroMillions windfall.

"We couldn't have wished for this. It's amazing. We are going to utilise it 100%. We've got a lovely long list of family and friends who we're going to be able to help and make their lives so much more comfortable."

Their lucky winning ticket shared Friday's EuroMillions jackpot of €129,618,406 with one other - bought in Mojácar, in Almeria, on the southern coast of Spain.

The EuroMillions jackpot surpassed the €102 Million paid out in November last year which was shared between two UK tickets. Last Friday’s lucky winning numbers were: 05, 45, 01, 38 &18. The Lucky Star numbers were: 6 & 4
