With the launch of European Lottery Guild's "El Gordo" website, it’s now easier than ever for players around the world to get in on the Spanish “El Gordo” action! The annual “El Gordo” – the Big One – the world’s biggest one-day lottery event, takes place on 22nd December 2011.

Tickets for this year’s “El Gordo” have been selling at an extraordinary pace – but that’s no surprise given that the total prize pool is worth €2.5 Billion. Unlike other lotteries, tickets for “EL Gordo” are pre-printed, so they can sell out.
